Batman Vs Superman director Zack Snyder has released a teaser image of the new Batmobile that Ben Affleck will be sporting in the new sequel.

In the first image from Batman Vs Superman, director Zack Snyder has revealed a teaser of the newly redesigned Batmobile that Batman will be driving in the Man of Steel sequel.

While it’s not the new Batsuit, director Zack Snyder tweeted the Batmobile image and said that it may be time to reveal the superhero vehicle in its entirety on Tuesday.

The teaser image seems to reveal that the new Batmobile will be longer than The Dark Knight trilogy’s and while it has the similar large rear wheels, it’s definitely more similar to what we’ve seen in the pre-Christian Bale Batman films. We’re excited to finally get our first look at the film and even more excited to see that Snyder is taking the film to an entirely new place so that hopefully fans aren’t constantly being reminded of Chris Nolan’s recent trilogy.

Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter recently joined the cast in an unknown role, as well as a fairly unknown actor Ray Fisher who has been cast as Cyborg.

Snyder has continued to surprise fans, as he cast Jesse Eisenberg as the film’s villain Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

Director Zack Snyder has jammed his movie with talented actors and new characters, so we’ll be curious to see what ends up being the focus of the film. We look forward to seeing the entire Batmobile tomorrow if Zack Snyder comes through after teasing the new superhero vehicle today. Let’s hope he has the new Batsuit on his list of images to release next.

Batman Vs Superman’s release date is set for May 6, 2016. Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill will return along with Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
