The Justice League member Cyborg will be played by actor Ray Risher, who will have a small role in Batman Vs Superman film starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.

Variety reports that after testing multiple actors for the role, Fisher has been cast as the Justice League member Cyborg. While he’s reportedly not a major part of Batman Vs Superman, he does have a larger role in the DC universe.

Cyborg’s name is Victor Stone, and he may become a larger part of DC’s universe as Warner Bros. begins to roll out solo superhero films to go along with their superhero stuffed films.

He will be joining Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman in what has become quite a star filled cast.

Henry Cavill recently mentioned Cyborg during Man of Steel’s bonus features, saying, “I think he would create an incredible bridge between superheroes and humanity,” Cavill said of the Cyborg character. He may have even known that an actor was currently being searched for to play the character when filming the behind-the-scenes footage for the bonus discs.

Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter recently joined the cast in an unknown role, as well as a few other fellow actresses that will be filling out the final few roles in the currently untitled film.

Snyder has continued to surprise fans, as he cast Jesse Eisenberg as the film’s villain Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. We do have some faith in his casting choices, though, and Holly Hunter is certainly a highly talented actress, which should help raise the film to a higher level.

Director Zack Snyder has jammed his movie with talented actors and new characters, so we’ll be curious to see what ends up being the focus of the film.

Batman Vs Superman’s release date is set for May 6, 2016. Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill will return along with Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
