Apple’s “Spring Forward” event played host to new details about the upcoming Apple Watch including exact prices, on sale dates, and more.

After announcing the exclusive availability of HBO Now on Apple devices and debuting a new, way-too-thin MacBook, Apple spent the remainder of the event detailing their highly-anticipated Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch will have “all-day battery life across a range of activities,” with Apple claiming it’ll last 18 hours on a “typical” day.

The prices are as follows and range dramatically:
– Apple Watch Sport: $349 for 38mm, $399 for 42mm
– Apple Watch Collection: $549 – $1049 for 38mm, $599 – $1099 for 42mm
– Apple Watch Edition: From $10,000 in “select retail stores”

The 38mm and 42mm refer to the size of the watch. Those with bigger wrists/fingers may be more interested in the larger size so they can use it more comfortably.

Pre-orders begin April 10. On the same day you’ll be able to experience the Apple Watch in store. The watch will be released on April 24.

Apps for Apple Watch will be purchased and downloaded using the Apple Watch app on the iPhone beginning with iOS 8.2. While Apple did run through a bunch of the device’s features, they didn’t drop many surprises. One of the biggest revelations is that the “Hey Siri” function – currently available on iPhone when it’s plugged in – will be available on Apple Watch all the time.

The Apple Watch is considered a big moment for the tech industry because many believe Apple will make the smart watch phenomenon blow up (like they did for tablets and touch screen smart phones).
