Phillipa Soo will soon be starring opposite Elisabeth Moss in an all new thriller coming soon over at Apple TV+.

According to Deadline, actress Phillipa Soo has officially signed on join the cast of Shining Girls.

Base on author Lauren Beukes’ best selling novel of the same name, Shining Girls follows the story of a Chicago reporter who survived a brutal assault, only to find her reality shifting as she hunts down her attacker.

For her part, Phillipa Soo is set to take on the role of Jin-Sook. Described as both intelligent and sure-footed, Jin-took works in the research department at the Adler planetarium.

Meanwhile, Moss will play the leading role of the Chicago reporter.

Others joining Soo and Moss ing the forthcoming thriller series include Narcos vet Wagner Moura as well as BAFTA winner Jamie Bell.

Moura will play a veteran journalist named Dan whose working on a story of a copycat attack, while Bell will play a mysterious loner named Harper.

Behind the camera, Silka Luisa serves as showrunner on the series, in addition to serving as executive producer. Other executive producers on the project include Beukes, Moss, Lindsey McManus, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson, and Alan Page Arriaga.

Currently, there’s no word on when we might expect to see Shining Girls debut via Apple TV+.
