Netflix’s next feature film, Girls and Boys, will be taking its inspiration from the life of Queer Eye star, Antoni Porowski.

Looks like Antoni will be branching out from teaching us about food and wine on Queer Eye!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streamer is reportedly working on a romcom titled Girls & Boys, which will be loosely based on the Queer Eye star’s real-life dating experiences as a sexually fluid man.

Porowski developed the story with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, who has a television deal with the streaming service. Barris will likewise produce the film under his banner Khalabo Ink Society.

Andrew Rhymer and Jeff Chan — the filmmakers behind Hulu’s rom-com film Plus Ones, starring Maya Erskine and Jack Quaid and the writers for the series PEN15 — have been tapped to pen the screenplay for Girls & Boys.

Antoni Porowski is best known for his role as one of the Fab Five on Netflix’s Emmy-nominated Queer Eye reboot. The rebooted show was recently renewed for its sixth season, which will take place in Austin, Texas.

The Fab Five of Queer Eye include Bobby Berk, who creates beautiful miracles as the show’s interior designer; Karamo Brown, who gets to the heart of people’s problems as the show’s culture expert; Jonathan Van Ness, who transforms people’s hair and skincare routine as the show’s grooming expert; Tan France, who shows everyone how to properly execute a French tuck as the fashion expert; and, of course, Antoni Porowski, who shows us all how to make homemade guacamole as the show’s food expert.

No word yet on when Girls and Boys will begin filming, or how involved Antoni will be in the overall process.
