The cast of the third installment of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series also boasts Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp and Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones. The season is based on the impeachment and sex scandal from the perspective of Jeffrey Toobin’s 1999 novel, A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President.

The screenplay for Impeachment: American Crime Story is being written by Sarah Burgess. Of course, Ryan Murphy will return to direct his anthology series for its third outing. Previously, the series has tackled The People v. O.J. Simpson and The Assassination of Gianni Versace. Monica Lewinsky will serve as a producer for the season, so we’re excited to see how her input affects the story.

Impeachment: American Crime Story will premiere on FX on September 27, 2020.
