The rumors were true. The opening sequence for American Horror Story: Cult has been released, and the leading 2016 presidential candidates are definitely involved in the new season.
Characters don Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump masks (where’s Bernie?) in the opening sequence released Monday. The video includes other brief shots of presidents over presidential-like music. AHS: Cult will be election-themed, and evidently, very relevant to the 2016 race in particular. Watch below:

It’ll be interesting to see exactly how Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump tie into the storyline, and just how close to the real election Cult will get. There were lots of “American Horror” moments during the 2016 election that this drama can draw from ?
