’90s kids, can we have a “Hollaback”? This parody commercial takes a dark turn as Liquid Slam meets… the Goonies?

Remember the 1990s? Bright clothes, non-ironic baseball caps, basketball stars playing ball with cartoon characters, an orange screen hue, and zig-zaggy sound effects… it was a simpler time.

This parody commercial from RockJump combines all the things we love the most about classic ’90s commercials, with added gore and neon green slime: imagine a Kellogg’s cereal ad directed by Peter Jackson in the late 1980s, and this is the result.

The commercial promotes “Big Game” Liquid Slam and Pizza Pigskins, so powerful it turns you into a terrifying zombie monster! In the end, the kids all get slaughtered, and the Token Sports Star passes out in fright. Good stuff.
