Billie Eilish is heading to the Oscars.

Update (1/29/2020): Following an unforgettable night at the 2020 Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish is gearing up to take the stage at the 2020 Oscars.

The “Bad Guy” singer took to Instagram on Wednesday (January 29) to share the good news with fans far and wide.

Eilish joins previously announced musical performers Elton John, Cynthia Erivo, Idina Menzel, Chrissy Metz, and Randy Newman, all of whom were confirmed to be performing this year’s Best Original Song nominees at the award show.

Though Eilish’s involvement at the ceremony is bound to excite fans, one thing that’s not yet been made clear is what exactly she’ll be performing on the big night. Perhaps she’ll sing during the annual In Memoriam segment?

Billie Eilish’s upcoming performance at the Academy Awards comes hot on the heels of the 18-year-old superstar’s huge night at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

Eilish scooped up five awards on the big night, in addition to making history as the youngest artist to win in all four major categories.

We’ll be excited to see what she cooks up as part of her special performance at the 2020 Oscars!

Original Story (1/23/2020):

The 2020 Oscars have solidified its lineup of performers for the big night!

Erivo, John, and Newman are also all nominated in the category for the songs they’ll be performing.

Here’s who’ll be performing what at the 2020 Oscars:

In addition to announcing this year’s performers, the Academy also revealed that this year’s telecast will also feature a special appearance by Questlove, in addition to a guest-conducted segment by Eimear Noone. Noone’s involvement is especially significant as she’ll be the first woman ever to conduct during an Oscars telecast.

As was previously announced, this year’s awards ceremony will once again proceed without a host. Host aside, however, we’re sure the star-studded lineup of presenters and performers will serve to move the show along for viewers at home!

The 2020 Oscars are set to air at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT via ABC on Sunday, February 9.
