Boy Meets World was one of the greatest TV shows ever and with it came some of the most memorable characters, like George Feeny. Though he was fictional, we could not help but wish that Mr. Feeny had been our teacher.

It’s difficult to watch a show as great as Boy Meets World and not relate to it. The characters encountered situations that mirror everyday life and their actions always taught us a little more about ourselves. Plus, by the end of each and every episode, we would always walk away with a good life lesson or two. Behind most of those life lessons was the one and only Mr. Feeny.

When people name some of the best educators of all time, fictional or real, George Feeny is usually one of the first people named. Mr. Feeny, played by William Daniels, was highly intelligent, caring, and overly charismatic. He invested himself in his students’ lives and did everything he can to help them succeed.

He always felt so real to us and we would always take his advice to heart. However, we wish that he could have been our own teacher so we didn’t have to live vicariously through Cory, Shawn, and Topanga. We so badly wanted Feeny to interact with our own personal issues and help us celebrate our own achievements. Here are just a few of the reasons why we love Mr. Feeny and constantly wish he had been our teacher.
