Is an announcement about future superhero movies from Warner Bros. imminent? That’s what some believe after the studio picked up several Justice League-related domain names.
The movie blogging sphere lit up with excitement on Tuesday after Tech Times noticed that Warner Bros. has taken ownership of JusticeLeagueFilm.com, ShazamMovie.com, WonderWomanTheMovie.com and AquamanMovie.com.
Hypable’s own inspection of these domain names reveals that these domains were nabbed by the studio at various times over the year – not very recently – so an announcement may not be super soon.
However, this news would suggest that murmurs of standalone Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Shazam movies are legitimate.
WB President of Domestic Distribution Dan Fellman recently suggested that the slate would be announced in late August. Obviously that prediction didn’t come true, but maybe the evidence is suggesting we’re getting close.

Last month the studio set nine “Untitled DC” films for release between now and June 2020, so Warner Bros.’ plans for Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and many others are likely just getting started.
If you couldn’t surmise from the title of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the next DC superhero film (due out in March 2016) will be an introduction of sorts to an eventual Justice League movie.
Now the question is: When will WB and DC finally announce these movies? And which of these characters will we see in theaters first after Dawn of Justice?
