The Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters has cast its Mason Ashford! Welcome Cameron Monaghan.
Mason is a dhampir like Rose. He also attends St. Vladimir’s and befriends Rose. The two have a rocky relationship throughout much of the series as Mason is attracted to Rose who has a connection with someone else. Mason helps Rose out frequently, even though they are both new guardians.
Zoey Deutch will be playing the role of Rose while Lucy Fry will portray Lissa. Danila Kovzolski will take on Dimitri.
It was announced earlier today that filming will begin on May 27.
The Vampire Academy focuses on two best friends, Lissa and Rose. Lissa is a vampire princess, and Rose is her half human bodyguard. Two are required to attend the secret boarding school, St. Vladimir’s Academy. Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy’s ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi–the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires–make Lissa one of them forever.
