‘Doctor Who’
Doctor: “So, are we enemies?”
Ashildr: “Enemies are never a problem. It’s your friends you have to watch out for. And you, my friend. I’ll be watching out for you.”
Doctor: “Ashildr, I think I’m very glad I saved you.”
Ashildr: “Oh, I think everyone will be.”
Ashildr has done a total 180 from the girl we met in last week’s episode. Immortality has changed her, and not for the better. She’s now amoral, selfish, and without empathy. There’s also the matter of a passive aggression towards the Doctor. This is going to be trouble. The Doctor never had these problems with Jack Harkness.
‘The Walking Dead’
Glen Rhee: “Good luck, dumbass.”
Glenn and Rick are both essentially on suicide missions. They each have to turn a huge herd of walkers around almost singlehandedly. Glenn’s parting words to Rick over the walkie talkies are the exact words that Glen spoke to Rick back in season 1 when they first met. After last week’s cliffhanger, let’s hope they are not the last words the two will share.
‘Once Upon a Time’
Regina Mills: “If I’m the one on the moral high ground, you’ve fallen quite a ways, Miss Swan.”
Regina does not recognize the person standing on her front steps. The Emma that Regina grew to know and accept into her family is no longer visible under the Dark One’s control. The burn that follows Regina addressing Emma as “Miss Swan” stings so deeply because the trust they worked so hard to build has been completely erased.
