Squaresville star Kylie Sparks will feature in a brand new web series that is a parody of The Walking Dead and Ted if the Kickstarter funding goal is reached.
First Mary Kate Wiles did it with School of Thrones, and now another Squaresville star is getting in on the parody web series action.
Wiles’ Squaresville co-star Kylie Sparks is set to feature in a Walking Dead parody series, The Walking Tedd.
The Walking Tedd is a comedic web series that parodies The Walking Dead, Ted, and Wilfred.
The Kickstarter to fund the project is counting down to the final week, with the project as-yet unfunded.
If you’re wondering how the web series creators could possibly combine all of these ideas into a single cohesive series, check out the synopsis:
When Kelly’s long-lost teddy bear returns in zombie-form, her somewhat normal, mid-twenties life becomes a living nightmare. She struggles to find her prince charming while juggling her babysitting job with protecting Tedd from her snoopy neighbor Olivia and egotistical ex-boyfriend Brett. This whimsical journey will make you laugh, cry, and cower as these zany characters attempt to overcome the unexpected obstacles associated with the universe’s biggest hiccup yet…The Walking Tedd.
It is certainly a somewhat absurd premise, but the best stories often are. For more insight into the style you can expect on The Walking Tedd, you can watch Kickstarter video below:
At the time of writing, the Kickstarter had reached $4,400 of its $15,000 goal, with 11 days to go in the campaign.
If fans want to see this promising series made, it is now up to them to put their money where their mouth is.
Fans can pledge between $10 to $5000 to support the project, for a range of incentives. The Walking Tedd Kickstarter closes on Thursday July 25 at 5:50 p.m. EDT.
