It’s been revealed that Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch will be voicing TWO characters for The Simpsons!

UPDATE: The episode will air Sunday, February 10 on Fox at 8 PM ET/PT.

Last week, Benedict himself revealed that he managed to bag himself a role in the upcoming 24th season of the animated comedy. Now, TV Line has discovered that the actor will be voicing two characters for an episode called “Love Is A Many Splintered Thing.”

Not only will he be voicing a “snake-like” character, Benedict will also play the British Prime Minister! There’s no word yet on whether the character will be a spoof of current PM David Cameron (in 2003, the Prime Minister Tony Blair appeared in “The Regina Monologues” alongside J.K. Rowling) or an original character.

We’ll let you know when details of the episode’s broadcast are unveiled!

Are you looking forward to seeing a yellow Benedict as the Prime Minister?
