Revenge aired its penultimate episode last night, “Plea.” Check our recap for all the details on Emily’s detainment.
Revenge‘s penultimate episode starts off with Emily and her attorney discussing her case. He wants her to take a plea, but she doesn’t.
At the courthouse, Nolan believes he’s found Mason. He hacked security footage pretty much everywhere and found him in a trailer park. Once court begins, Emily’s attorney and the DA argue over Emily’s bail. The judge rules that her bail is set at 2 million and there are serious restrictions.
Ben meets Emily at the beach house and puts her ankle monitor on. She’s under house arrest and Ben specifically asked to be signed up for the job to keep her there. Awkward.
Nolan is hard at work looking for a way to get Emily out of her ankle monitor so she can escape and bring Mason in. Jack brings Emily outside for a little chat about them. Then Emily tells Jack that he’s the one and they almost kiss when Nolan comes out and ruins everything.
When Emily is messing around with the fake ankle monitor, David comes downstairs and gives her an earful on how it’s a horrible idea and he’s her father so he’s telling her she can’t leave. At that moment, she slips the bracelet around David’s wrist and says “Sorry, Dad.”
Louise meets Margaux at LeMarchal and tells her that Victoria’s penthouse has been sealed by the executor of her estate — Charlotte — and Louise wants to get in because she’s weirdly still obsessed with Victoria and can’t sleep. Seriously? They weren’t even that close.
Louise meets Charlotte at the rehab center where she looks very happy and in a new mindset. We like this for Charlotte! Louise talks to her about the funeral and Charlotte says she isn’t going and doesn’t want any part of anything that surrounds her mother’s second death.
Jack interrupts Margaux during her lunch and they argue a bit about the EmiManda/Victoria situation. When she storms off, Jack notices her plate number.
Ben shows up at the beach house and says they had to reset her ankle bracelet. At that moment the bracelet around David’s wrist beeps and Ben says that Emily’s bracelet will now be able to be located.
We see Emily at Mason’s (now empty) trailer. Emily questions the residents and then the sirens and helicopters sound. Ben says he wanted to be wrong but apparently he’s not.
The following day at the beach house, David is angry at Jack for “letting” Emily leave. Ha! Jack says he noticed that the license plate on Margaux’s car matched the plate number of the car in the picture that Mason was found in. Good detective work, Jack.
Louise heads back to Victoria’s penthouse and sees Nolan there. She kicks him out after they almost have a sweet moment. Louise lingers back and finds evidence that Victoria may have been lying to her.
When David visits Emily in prison, she tells him she needs five minutes with Margaux and then David starts seizing. We later find out that it may have been from the chemo, obviously. This isn’t sounding too good for David though.
Nolan and Jack meet with Jack’s old buddy Darrel from the police academy. He works in private security. In the next scene we see Margaux purchasing a beautiful necklace for Victoria’s funeral. As she walks out, the detectors go off and the security guard (Darrel) checks her bag and finds a stolen item. Naturally, Margaux freaks out and slaps him, and she is sent off to jail.
Emily will now get her chance to speak to Margaux since she has to stay in a cell overnight. Emily unlocks her own cell and enters Margaux’s cell. She questions Margaux and threatens her.
Ben meets with Emily and she tells him that Victoria and a woman named Mary Gains swapped bodies. He doesn’t believe her for more obvious reasons. She explains to Ben her plans in detail but only lacks where Victoria is right now. He still doesn’t believe her.
Then Louise shows up at the precinct with evidence that Emily may not have been the one to attack Victoria that night. That evidence prompts Ben to look into Mary Gains’ body… which is conveniently not there.
David tells Emily that he had more tests done and his lymphoma is now a stage 4 and it’s spread to his brain. Emily is heartbroken and can’t even hug her own father behind the bulletproof glass.
Ben breaks into Mary Gains’ home and FINDS VICTORIA THERE! Just at that moment Ben is killed by White Gold (Courtney Love), who was called by Margaux to retain her services.
And here we thought Victoria was positively dead. Shame on us.
