Read the synopses of two upcoming Once Upon a Time episodes, entitled “Tallahassee” and “Child of the Moon.” Emma and Ruby are in focus this time!
Once Upon a Time‘s third episode of season 2, “Lady of the Lake” airs tonight, and it seems like it’ll be another Prince Charming/Snow White-centric episode.
But in the coming weeks you can look forward to learning more about both Emma and Ruby.
Zap2It has released the following description of episode 2×06, entitled “Tallahassee”:
Emma follows Captain Hook up a beanstalk in hope of finding a magical compass; a fellow thief wants to make an honest woman out of Emma.
While the first part sounds pretty straightforward – considering fairytales are real and all that – it would appear that the second part of that sentence is referring to a flashback. We know from season 1 that Emma spent two years in Tallahassee, longer than she spent anywhere else, and it looks like this episode will answer why.
This is also the episode in which we’ll meet Henry’s father! Will he be the “fellow thief” in Tallahassee, or has he perhaps found his way to fairytale land and is actually Jack (hence the beanstalk)? Or could he be both?
The second episode description is for 2×07 “Child of the Moon.” As the title implies, this will center on Little Red Riding Hood, a.k.a. the Big Bad Wolf:
Ruby’s fear about turning into a wolf is confirmed when she becomes the prime suspect for a vicious murder; Leroy finds treasure in a Storybrooke mine that could help Emma and Mary Margaret.
Actor Jarod Joseph will reprise his role as the Storybrooke mechanic Billy in this episode, and we’ll learn his fairytale character indentity.
We have wondered about whether Ruby would transform in Storybrooke, considering that the other magical creatures like Blue and Jiminy Cricket haven’t returned to their fantastical forms (although it looked like Pinocchio had).
Once Upon a Time airs tonight at 8/7c on ABC!
