Yes, you read that right! Nintendo is reviving the classic NES console, and you can finally play the original Mario, Zelda, and Final Fantasy the way they were meant to be played!
Looks like Nintendo suddenly has some money freed up for a passion project — could it have anything to do with the outrageous success of Pokémon Go? Either way, we’re not complaining, because this is amazing.
The gaming giant just announced that the NES is coming back, in mini format, with 30 games!

The miniature NES comes with 30 built-in games, and will retail for $59.99.
The “Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition” connects to your TV via an HDMI cable, and comes with a controller in classic design. It can also connect to a Wii Remote.
The Verge can further report one exciting modern upgrade: Multiple suspend points, meaning we don’t have to worry about passwords.
