The current season of The Voice has been a success for NBC, and they’ve ordered two more seasons for 2013.
The Voice is currently running season 3. Due to the continuing popularity of the show, NBC has decided that they want to bring back The Voice for Spring of 2013, which was their plan, as well as fall of 2013.
The Voice is doing well in the ratings so far this season. The show is averaging a 4.5 rating on Mondays and a 4.3 rating on Tuesdays in the 18-49 age bracket. Overall, The Voice is averaging 12.9 million viewers on Mondays and 12.5 million viewers on Tuesdays.
The Voice will be back in the spring with season 4, but it will be down two of its four judges. Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera will be taking time off from the show to focus on their music careers. Coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will remain on the show.
Shakira and Usher will join the show in their absence.
Cee Lo Green will return for season 5, but it is unannounced when Christina Aguilera will return.
The Voice coach Christina Aguilera recently released her new dance single, “Your Body.” The single is from her upcoming album Lotus, which will be released in November.
