During Mad Men season 6, episode 5, the ending to Planet of the Apes was spoiled.
Towards the end of the episode, Don and his son Bobby attend a screening of the classic 1968 movie starring Charlton Heston. We see the final moments of the movie where the Statue of Liberty’s head is laying on the beach.
Mad Men season six’s episode five spoiling of Planet of the Apes came as a shock to viewers – many of whom seemingly haven’t seen or were concerned about others.
