The final episode of The Lizzie Bennet Diaries just aired. Read our recap, and discuss episode 100 with your fellow LBD fans.
It’s a sad day for Lizzie Bennet Diaries fans, with episode 100 wrapping up this modern web adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. We were expecting it to be emotional, after all, we were saying goodbye to Lizzie Bennet for one last time.
‘Lizzie Bennet Diaries’ episode 100: “The End”
It was a sweet send off to Lizzie (Ashley Clements) and her friends in the final episode. While we had already heard from the creators that this would be the last episode, we got some in-universe explanation from Lizzie herself. Then to our delight, we had a proper goodbye to Charlotte Lu (Julia Cho), who has certainly become a fan favourite during the series. With a bit of “where are they now,” we hear that Charlotte will be taking over Collins and Collins, with Mr. Collins moving to Canada with his possibly fictional fiance. Yay, Charlotte.
Then it was time for guest number two, Lydia Bennet (Mary Kate Wiles). It was great for fans to finally see Lydia looking like herself, and to see how her relationship with Lizzie has developed from the beginning. We also loved her present – hopefully the transmedia team upload that entire list somewhere, because we are dying to see the other 19 reasons.
And with that, it was all over – although not quite. Trust this team to give us one final surprise before it wrapped up forever. If you haven’t watched it yet, just make sure you stay to the very end. We call that fan service, at its very, very best.

The show will be helmed by The Lizzie Bennet Diaries‘ Transmedia Producer Jay Bushman, and Consulting Producer Margaret Dunlap. The Kickstarter is open until 22 April 2013, and you can still donate to support the show.
