Lady Gaga will return to great “Applause” when she debuts ARTPOP, her make up artist has revealed.
“If only Fame came in IV form could I bare being away from you. I live for the way that you cheer and scream for me. The Applause.” When Lady Gaga tweeted this cryptic message back in January, fans wondered if they could be potential lyrics. Now it seems that’s the case!
Lady Gaga’s first single from her upcoming album ARTPOP has been given a title: “Applause.” The news came around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night, by way of Gaga’s make-up artist, Tara Savelo. She posted this picture on Gaga’s popular social networking site, LittleMonsters:
It shows a dark-haired Gaga smoking and working on a painting that is conveniently covered by her hand (perhaps the artwork for “Applause”? Speculate below!). The word APPLAUSE is written at the top and, in small handwriting, “lady gaga 8 19 13.” Get ready little monsters (and everyone, really), Gaga is about to make her return! And she is ready for the applause!
