‘Diablo 3’ open beta this weekend

Looks like your weekend plans just changed. Blizzard has announced they are opening up the Diablo 3 beta to all players who wish to access it for this weekend only.

“From Friday, April 20 at 12:01 p.m. PDT (noon), until Monday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m. PDT you’ll be able to log in, team up with friends, and play each of the five heroic classes to level 13 as you fight to save the world from the impending demonic invasion,” it says on Blizzard’s post.

You’ll need a free Battle.net account as well as download the beta client from Blizzard to take advantage of the open beta which you can get here.

Diablo 3 is set to release May 15.
