2013 Oscar-nominee Christoph Waltz will host Saturday Night Live the week before the Academy Awards in February.
The Django Unchained actor will host Saturday Night Live on February 16, according to an announcement from NBC today. The Academy Awards will air February 24th. Waltz will be joined with musical guest Alabama Shakes.
Christoph Waltz is currently nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his incredible performance in Django Unchained. A few weeks ago, he also won the Golden Globe for this same performance.
Django Unchained, directed by legendary director Quentin Tarantino, is a front-runner for several of the Academy Award nominations this season. There’s no doubt that Christoph Waltz’ episode of Saturday Night Live will be hyped in advance of the episode.
