Anchorman 2 held a test screening in Burbank, California on Tuesday night, and tweets rounded up from lucky attendees indicate the highly-anticipated sequel is a winner.
SlashFilm rounded up several of the reviews from those who were invited to attend. It’s important to keep in mind that this is a random selection of attendees who themselves were randomly selected to see the film. They did not know they were going into Anchorman 2 prior to sitting down in the theater.

Director Adam McKay and producer Judd Apatow were reportedly present at the screening to get a sense of everyone’s reactions as the plot played out on screen.
Anchorman 2 doesn’t hit theaters until December, so McKay and Apatow have plenty of time to work on the film.
Thanks, Slashfilm.
