Rumors have swirled for months as to whether Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb would be back for a sequel, now we have a few words from the man himself.
Webb on a possible sequel:
“People ask about the sequel and I’m like, well, you know, I don’t know if I want to do that, but I love the process. I love Andrew and Emma. But it’s like asking someone who has just given birth, “Do you want to get pregnant again?”
The director goes on to talk about why The Daily Bugle wasn’t included in the Spider-Man reboot, since its boss J. Jonah Jameson was such a fan favorite in director Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy,
“I think it just would be impossible for anybody to reinvent that[actor J.K Simmon’s portrayal].
Webb opens up to some other great questions, so be sure to check out the full interview.
