Once Upon a Time season 4 has introduced the Frozen characters. See what Scott Michael Foster (Kristoff) can tease about his character’s relationships with Anna and Elsa.
Scott Michael Foster has done a new interview with the LA Times, in which he discusses Kristoff’s role in Once Upon a Time season 4.
It’s clearly the Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail) show, like in the Frozen movie, but Kristoff will continue to be relevant by supporting both girls.
“He’s been trying to prove himself as a loyal brother-in-law and friend, and you’ll see more of him really supporting these two,” Foster says, “being a good brother-in-law and a good fiancé.”
While Kristoff will obviously be supporting Anna on her mission, “he wants to get closer to his future sister-in-law Elsa” as well.
As we’ve already seen, “they get to have a little bonding time. You start to see his relationship with Elsa grow a bit more.”
Foster also theorizes what Kristoff might be doing in Storybrooke, if he ever finds himself there.
“He’s the ice master and deliverer of Arendelle, so I’d like to assume he does something with that,” he says. “Maybe he runs an ice skating rink. Or, even though Storybrooke is in the 21st century, maybe there’s a nostalgic group of people who still have iceboxes — like back in the day, when you didn’t have a freezer.”
Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 5, “Breaking Glass,” airs next Sunday at 8/7c on ABC!
