ABC Family has released the first teaser for the upcoming season of Pretty Little Liars. Check out the promo and an all the new set of mysteries that comes with it.
In the final moments of season 4, “A” had made yet another miraculous escape by jumping over an alley to another building. He or she left the girls high and dry huddled around an unconscious Ezra who was bleeding out with every passing second.
With Ezra’s fate left in the balance, the wait for some season 5 footage hasn’t been easy. Now, we’re happy to report that we finally have a few snippets from the aftermath from the final showdown.
Check out the teaser for season 5 of ‘Pretty Little Liars’:
The 30-second promo doesn’t give too much away but in true Pretty Little Liars fashion, we’re left with many more questions than we’re given answers for.
So, questions time. What else could Ali possibly be hiding from the girls? Who are all of the masked people swarming in around the girls? Are Ali and Mona teaming up together? And most importantly, what does Ezra whisper to Aria?
In the last seconds of the promo it looks like Ezra is going to reveal who “A” is once and for all, but we’re not going to read too much into Ezra’s whisper as we don’t want to get our hopes up.
One thing that did come from the promo was that Ezra is looking a little bit better than when we last saw him. Ian Harding, who plays Ezra, has been all over the Pretty Little Liars set while filming this season which has made fans hopeful for his recovery.
Earlier this week Lucy Hale even put up a photo of herself with her co-star from the set on her Instagram. With Ian still on set many fans have been hopeful that the character will pull through and the controversial couple will find their way back to each other.
What did you think of the first season 5 promo?
Pretty Little Liars premieres Tuesday, June 10 at 8 pm eastern/standard on ABC Family.
