Previously on ‘Arrow’
Oliver and Slade came face to face for the first time since the island. Slade swore to uphold a promise he made to Oliver five years ago: “You cannot die until you have suffered the same way I have suffered. Until you have known complete despair. And you will.”
Slade made his move by kidnapping Thea, but it was just a distraction. While Team Arrow focused on rescuing Oliver’s sister, Slade recruited escaped prisoners to his army. In the confusion, Isabel Rochev also became CEO of Queen Consolidated and revealed that she is working alongside Slade.
