Parks and Recreation season 6, episode 14, “Anniversaries” airs tonight at 8:30 p.m. on NBC. Parks and Rec welcomes a new Swanson.
Parks and Rec returns to NBC tonight after nearly a month off the air (thanks Olympics). Last time we were in Pawnee, Ann and Chris were leaving town to start a new life in Ann Arbor.
Now tonight will be the first Ann-less episode of Parks and Rec ever.
As the title implies, Ben and Leslie will be celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary… or, attempting to celebrate it at least. Like most big events in Leslie Knope’s life, work takes precedence.
Leslie, Tom and Andy head out on a media tour to rustle up more positive coverage of the Pawnee-Eagleton merger. John Hodgman will appear as an NPR-esque Eagleton radio host.
Meanwhile, in true Swanson fashion, Ron has welcomed a baby son into the world and neglected to give anyone a heads up.
As if a newborn baby weren’t cute enough, Ron and April will be heading to a dog shelter to find a new furry companion for Ron’s step-daughters. There is no better dog-shopping partner than April Ludgate.
