It’s been a long 3 weeks of Olympic interruption from our beloved Original siblings, but The Originals season 1 continues this Tuesday with “Long Way Back From Hell.”
Just a few short weeks ago we saw Celeste’s plan move into action as Papa Tunde sacrificed himself, Genevieve and Bastiana kidnapped Klaus and Rebekah, and Elijah was forced to choose amongst saving the woman he cares for or one of his immortal siblings. He chose well, saving the mortal werewolf girl carrying his brother’s love child and buying himself valuable time to find both Rebekah and Klaus.
The preview we last saw showed that this next episode will have Klaus and Rebekah being mentally tortured by the witches, and we may just walk a few steps down the always dangerous memory lane as Rebekah is forced to remember a painful time.
Take a look at the official synopsis for a better description of what we will see Tuesday night:
REBEKAH’S PAST CATCHES UP WITH HER — When Rebekah finds herself locked up in the sanatorium where she worked in 1919, she realizes a witch named Genevieve (guest star Elyse Levesque) is back to seek revenge and to reveal dark secrets that would destroy Rebekah if exposed. A distraught Elijah turns to Marcel and Hayley for help when one of his decisions puts Klaus and Rebekah’s lives in danger. With time working against them, Marcel realizes he may hold valuable information that could lead them to Rebekah and Klaus, but revealing it will almost certainly result in deadly consequences.
Make sure not to miss this promo as well:
We also got a couple of sneak peek clips that are definitely going to leave you chomping at the bit for Tuesday to get here as fast as possible:
The first includes a frantic Marcel trying to get Elijah to see him as his equal, while also doing everything in his power to get Rebekah and Klaus back and out of danger.
And the second gives us a quick glimpse at what Rebekah will be up to.
