Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 13 airs tonight on ABC. Here’s everything you need to know about “T.R.A.C.K.S.” – and the guest appearance by Marvel great Stan Lee!
Our favorite agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be going undercover on board a train tonight in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 13 – but don’t expect things to chug along smoothly. The episode, titled “T.R.A.C.K.S.,” will take the team to Italy in pursuit of the Clairvoyant, the shadowy figure at the head of Centipede.
It’s exciting to see the arc of the Clairvoyant continue to gain steam on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. In the most recent episode (which aired an excruciating three weeks ago) it became apparent that the nefarious businessman Ian Quinn (David Conrad) is also connected to that prescient figure. In addition, the mystery of Skye’s origins as a death-heralding infant was revealed, giving the character a degree of closure about her troubled past.
The official synopsis for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 13 tells us that this week the ending may not be so happy.
Hot on the trail of the Clairvoyant, Coulson and his team board a mystery train that seems to be headed for certain death.
The preview for “T.R.A.C.K.S.” sets the scene as the team (in some cases, reluctantly) board the Italian train of death, and gives us a nice look at Agent Ward looking slick in his role of Undercover Conductor.
The preview also offers a tantalizing look at real-life Marvel hero Stan Lee, who will update his comicbook-adaptation-cameo list with an appearance in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 13. Lee has demonstrated his excitement about the cameo, while Clark Gregg has admitted that this cameo may be his favorite of Lee’s extensive backlist.
A new still photo of Lee’s appearance in “T.R.A.C.K.S.” was recent released on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Facebook page.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 1, episode 13, “T.R.A.C.K.S.” airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
