The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s Super Bowl trailer is split into two, so watch the first half, which teases Gwen Stacy’s possible death.
With half a dozen new trailers airing during this weekend’s Super Bowl, studios may be finding it difficult to stand out. Sony has decided to release half of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer now and half on Sunday. So watch 40 seconds of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in this half-trailer:
Emma Stone looks like she may get the axe in this film, as Spidey catches her on a long fall in the trailer. It’s unlikely that she’ll be killed off though, as she has a contract for three films.
Many fans (as well as this writer) have felt the previous trailers have looked video game-esque, but this trailer looks like a more finalized version of the film’s VFX work.
We found out in December that the fourth film in the Spider-Man franchise will include Venom and the Sinister Six. There have been signs of the Sinister Six in all the film’s trailers, as well as Harry Osborn becoming the Green Goblin.
Andrew Garfield has revealed that the fourth film isn’t likely to be about him, since he’s only currently contracted for three films.
