In this week’s episode of Teen Wolf, a certain someone seemingly returned from the grave. What impact could their appearance have for our favorite characters?
If you haven’t watched Teen Wolf season 3, episode 14, “More Bad Than Good,” we recommend sitting down with a carton of ice cream and checking it out before you continue reading!
On this week’s Teen Wolf, none other than Braeden returned from Beacon Hills. The last time we saw her, she had been slashed across the throat by Deucalion, and we all assumed she was dead.
Guess she’s a little heartier than we first gave her credit.
Granted, she’s got a nice set of scars across her neck now. Besides that, we also learned that she had been hired to save Isaac, just like she was hired to save Derek. Last time, it was Morrell who hired her. This time it was Deucalion, of all people.
It was a great twist to the episode, and fans are sure to be happy to have Meagan Tandy back on the show. Although we didn’t get much time with her in season 3A, everyone fell in love with the strong and mysterious character.
But what does this mean for the other characters on ‘Teen Wolf?’
The first character that comes to mind is Isaac. Isaac literally owes her his life, and he was constantly worried about her when he finally healed and found out that she hadn’t been rescued from the Alpha Pack along with him.
There’s bound to be some intense feelings from Isaac upon seeing her return — if he sees her return, that is. We don’t know how long she’ll be on the show, but we’re hoping Braeden will stick around to cause some trouble for the South American hunters that showed up in episode 13. Hopefully Isaac will be able to thank her for rescuing him. And could we also possibly see a little bit of romantic feelings from Isaac towards Braeden? Do you think she would reciprocate them?
The second character that jumps out as being affected by Braeden’s return is Derek. This obviously came to a head in episode 14 when she rescued him, but what else could it mean? Has Deucalion hired her to help him until he finds what he’s looking for? If not, will she perhaps stick around of her own volition?
She took a rather appreciative look at Derek as he was chained up, so it makes us wonder if there’s a hint of a possible relationship between the two. We’ll be the first to admit Derek probably needs a break in the romance department (poor guy), but we won’t say the two wouldn’t look great together.
Next up is Scott. Braeden was the first one to clue us into the secret about Scott in a major way. She called Scott an Alpha even before he turned into one, and she knew about his potential and why he worried Deucalion so much. It’s more than possible that she could know additional information about him and his talent as a True Alpha, and could become an important ally for the teen wolf.
Lastly, we have the twins, Ethan and Aiden. They played an integral part in the attack on Braeden, and we can’t wait until they come face to face again. Do they know she’s still alive? Does she blame them for what happened to her, even though she’s obviously worked past her issues with Deucalion if she was willing to work for him? And, best yet, will we see an awesome showdown between the three of them now that the twins are out of the Alpha Pack and are weaker, and Braeden is stronger, having healed from her various injuries?
Braeden’s return is an exciting plot point for the show, and we hope she plays an integral role in what’s going down in Beacon Hills at the moment. Her appearance in season 3, episode 1 raised all sorts of questions, and now it looks like we could finally be getting some answers.
