ABC Family’s annual 25 Days of Christmas event is quickly approaching, and today the channel announced the full schedule.

The big news about this year’s 25 Days of Christmas line up is that ABC Family will premiere a new original movie called Holidaze, starring Jennie Garth (Beverly Hills, 90210) and Cameron Mathison (All My Children) on Sunday, December 8 at 8 p.m. eastern. The original movie “follows Mel (Garth), a high-powered executive who is sent back to her hometown to convince its residents to allow her company to build a new discount store. The townspeople—led by Mel’s former fiancé Carter (Mathison)—are vehemently opposed to it. Desperate to get out of town and back to her ‘real’ life, Mel takes a spill and wakes up in an alternate universe where she never left home and is married to Carter. Once determined to leave her small town life behind, Melody must make sense of her new life and decide if you truly can go home again.”

In addition, Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy will premiere holiday episodes on Wednesday, December 11 at 8 p.m. eastern/pacific.

NO Once Upon a Christmas and Twice upon a Christmas :(

    • guest

They’re both playing on the 15th?

      • Taylore Thompson

That’s Mickey’s Once/Twice upon a Christmas. The movies I was talking about are about Santa’s daughter becoming an nanny to a family of kids on the naughty list to try and convince santa to not give up on Christmas. It’s not very well known but I was disappointed because ABC Family normally always plays it

        • xosnowangel

I love those ones so much! I look forward to them every holiday :(

    • Donna Atkinson

      Hallmark Channel has them on.

  • missuskitty

I got rid of my cable and I never regret except in December. :,<

  • Lindsey

I don’t know why they don’t play “Christmas in Boston” anymore. That was one of their better ones. Patrick J Adams (currently in USA’s ‘Suits’) was adorable in it.

  • Cindy

Uhhh.. Elf is not on the list. :-O :-(

    • Lindsey

There’s another cable channel that plays that around xmas time. It might be USA, but I’m not 100% sure.

      • Jojo_Squires

You’re right it’s USA and, I think, sometimes FX.

      • Jojo_Squires

You’re right it’s USA and, I think, sometimes FX.

  • Ultron

    I love Christmas <3

  • jose8180

    no harry potter movies?

    • Connor

For once in our lives can Harry Potter NOT be mentioned in an article not related to it! CHRIST!

      • Ultron

        Umm no. Get out.

  • Sarah Riffel

…. they haven’t even started 13 Nights of Halloween.

  • TSSD

Surprisingly happy with this. Except, why is the Toy Story Halloween special airing at Christmas??

  • Laura Jurgensmeyer

Yay! All I Want for Christmas is my favorite Christmas movie! Can’t wait to have some Christmas movie marathons.

  • Emily Bryan

I’m surprised that Potter isn’t on there, unless they decide to do a Potter marathon the weekend before this starts. I’m so excited for the line-up! Especially happy seeing The Little Mermaid making it’s ABC Family debut :D Can’t wait for Chipmunk Christmas!

But first, let’s enjoy 13 Nights of Halloween :D I love love love this time of year.

  • Sarah

I MAY GET CABLE JUST SO I CAN WATCH THESE

  • Lizette Arocha

Only interested in Toy Stories and Little Mermaid

  • Kay

No Harry Potter and no Home Alone?! I thought for sure they were going to premiere DH2.

  • Amanda Douglas

The new “original” movie sounds like every other original Christmas movie that ABC Family comes out with, haha. Some business person has to go back to their hometown that is more traditional, they try to change tradition in some way or are just miserable the whole time, and then a former boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance hops in the picture, there’s romance, and then the business person realizes how miserable they actually are.

  • Patty Carlie Presley

WHAT?! NO HARRY POTTER Weekend?! I look forward to that EVERY year!

  • Me

WHERE IS ELF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! Don’t tell me that’s only MY favorite Christmas movie…….

  • david ,

i love to see the disney channel original xmas episode,s in the disney channel tv show,s / david

  • hbk72777

    HARRY POTTER ISN’T CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

    thank you

  • Momma B

I would love to see “The Christmas List” with Mimi Rogers. I know it is an oldie, but it is a goodie. Maybe it would be a good idea to include some of the oldies instead of playing some of the same ones over and over and over and over!!!

    • Jenna

Amen to that! I would love to see “The Christmas List” again>

    • Dave Jones Pritchett

I recorded this last year just in case!

    • Donna Atkinson

It is available on youtube. I love that movie and you cannot even get it on DVD,

    • Patsy Lopez

I agree really missed that movie The Christmas List. There are so many other Christmas movies that they don’t have to show the same ones over and over.

  • Georgie R

There are so many Christmas made-for-TV movies in the US! We don’t get that in the UK really, thank goodness!

  • Kennedy

Where in the world are White Christmas, Elf, Miracle on 34th Street, Frosty the Snowman, the Sound of Music, and Its a Wonderful Life?
