The six songs that are a part of Glee’s Cory Monteith tribute airing this Thursday, October 10 on Fox have surfaced online in high quality.

Today’s appearance of the Cory Monteith tribute songs also confirm who will be performing each one in what’s sure to be an emotional episode.

Listen to each of the songs from Glee season 5, episode 3 “The Quarterback” below:

Rachel – “Make You Feel My Love”

Artie & Sam – “Fire and Rain”

Santana – “If I Die Young”

Mercedes – “I’ll Stand by You”

Puck – “No Surrender”

Mercedes, Santana, Kurt, Puck, Tina & Mike – “Seasons of Love”

Series creator Ryan Murphy recently spoke about creating the episode and said that most of the scenes we see on Thursday are first takes that capture the actors’ real first emotions while performing.

The first look at “The Quarterback” was released this past Thursday following season 5, episode 2 and included Rachel singing “Make You Feel My Love.” In the same video we saw heartbreaking scenes in which the characters are coping with the loss of Finn Hudson. You can watch and discuss with fellow Gleeks in our previous story.

Glee season 5, episode 3 – the Cory Monteith tribute – will air Thursday, October 10 on Fox at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific. While you wait, check out our recap of episode 2, “Tina in the Sky with Diamonds.”

Do you think these six songs appropriately pay tribute to Cory Monteith? The actor suddenly passed away in July due to a drug overdose. His battle with addiction had been ongoing for years.

typos are going make me laugh

  • Jnthn44

Seasons of Love and I’ll Stand By You are going to be incredible

  • Matthew Howland

Hypable has been really slow at getting Glee news recently.

    • Matthew Howland

Glee Wikia had these up early this morning.

      • bob

It’s the weekend, give them a break, sheesh.

        • nahte91

Indeed. Slow? Nonsense. Andrew is a god.

      • http://www.hypable.com/ Andrew Sims

        Damn, really? I quit.

        • alexa

          aww noo you’re perfect

        • Matthew Howland

I’m not upset! XD Lolz. Idk why people are downing me, just letting you know that the news is out there.

          • http://www.hypable.com/ Andrew Sims

Of course the news is out there.. We aren’t the only Glee news site.

      • jozefd14

        and on Tumblr…

  • Allie

sobbing at I’ll Stand By You good god

  • Mike

I’m going to say this now – for one episode, can we not argue that Marley/Blaine did not get a solo, or even rank them in order of best to worst? They are all incredibly beautiful and emotional. None should be put above the other.

Also, even if you refuse to buy songs, don’t illegally download these – or if you do, buy the EP when it comes out on iTunes later this week. You can manage to spend $4 in remembrance of Cory, with the money going to a charity.

    • tuulile

All solos (except Sam’s) are from originals – those who started this series with Cory – so I back you up in this

    • Carol Vidal

All the solos are from those who are on Glee since season 1 (or 2, in case of Sam), so they have more history with Finn than Blaine and Marley… ;)

Blaine is on the show since season 2, but he moved to New Directins only on season 3…

Also, in my opinion, Marley is not so wonderful, but I like Blaine.

    • guest

i fully support this. i don’t want to hear ANY hate about this episode. it would just ruin it for most people.

even if you hate a song, or you wish someone else would have sang that song or you wish that song should have been song or what ever. NO HATE PLEASE!! lets all just ‘enjoy’ the episode for what it is, ugly cry into pillows and tissues and just remember Finn/Cory.
when they come back for the next episode, you can resume the usual inter fandom scrobbling.

      • Willis

Exactly! I’ve been saying this on other forums that we should refrain from the nit-picky negative comments, especially since this episode was hard enough for them to shoot to begin with, I actually say a comment from someone saying lets hope it’s “worthy of the hype” and while I am sure nothing insensitive was meant, I mentioned to her that it’s an episode made out of love for Cory, so believe me, it’s worthy.

  • Kim

If I Die Young is my favorite. I love Naya’s voice so much.

  • bethany

Naya!!! oooh i love IIDY so much!

  • Laura Jurgensmeyer

These are making me cry. I don’t know how I’m going to handle the episode.

  • Meghan Carlisle

    They sound better than ever.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t know how the cast got through this. But job well done to all.

  • Meghan Carlisle

I figured this would be this case but ‘Make You Feel My Love’ is my favorite. Lea has that gift of making you feel something when she sings, so small wonder I bawled all through her/Rachel’s song.

  • Sofia Malik

aaaaah noooo! I’m already sick, crying will just clog up my nose even more :’(

  • alexa

nooo! i wanted Puck to do Stand By You : this is pretty too but i wanted PUck!

    • guest

      please stop this. please.

    • Rachel Monroe

I think his song is better fitted than Stand by You. I don’t even understand why they redid it.

  • Deon Summerville

Wait the picture with the messages is so sad because those are real. The one signed by Zach & Brooke are the co-choreographers of the show :(

    • Jill

Wow…I did not even notice that. Tears have started to roll….. :’(

  • Klaine Is On Fire ♥

Make You Feel My Love is simply amazing! Mark singing No Surrender is pure perfection! And I have no words for I’ll Stand By You and Seasons Of Love <3 I have been wanting Glee to sing Seasons of Love for a long time, I just wish it was under different circumstances. Also I love how Naya starts singing If I Die Young without any background music at first.

I'm glad that Blaine doesn't have any featured songs.. And it not because I don't like him because that is incredibly false. If you follow me on twitter you would know I am literally obsessed with Blaine and think an episode without a song of his is a waste of time. But for this episode it's good. It shows Blaine isn't the focus of this episode like he is for many others. This episode is solely for Cory/Finn. I also love the fact that no Season 4 newbies have songs. The characters who knew Finn for the longest have the songs.

    • alexa

^i agree 100%. and i can imagine Darren Criss being like “this episode isn’t about me, i dont even want to be featured”

  • Sarah Gilligan

Let me start off by saying that I love all the songs they chose and the people performing them.

I’m unsure of the format of the episode so there may be a reason why Kurt doesn’t have a solo, but I was really hoping that he would since Finn is his step-brother. Maybe it was too hard for Chris/Kurt, I have no idea.

    • Marie

Ryan Murphy recently said some cast members didn’t want to do a tribute, and I could see Chris being one of them.

  • http://www.instagram.com/luuiii luuiii

Beautiful songs! Love all of them and I think (like everyone below) that it was the right decision not to let anyone from Season 4 sing a song. It’s just right that the original Glee kids get this because they’ve known Finn/Cory the longest.

  • Jazzy18

Wow I’ll stand by you actually gave me chills. Can’t wait to hear all of these in the context of the episode especially since they sound this amazing on their own.

    • malcorben

The context, great word! The context is why I started watching Glee, because I loved the song choice going perfectly with the character’s actions etc. in the episode!

  • Ellen

These are all really great. I do wish Kurt was singing a solo, because he was Finn’s step-brother. Also, Mercedes’ “I’ll Stand By You” was pretty, but I had been hoping Puck would sing it. I loved his version of No Surrender, and though it makes sense character-wise for him to sing both since they were best friends, I understand why they didn’t want to give him two songs.

    • Kat

Maybe Chris found it too difficult to sing a solo. We don’t know what went on behind the scenes.

      • Ellen

That’s what I was thinking, as well. I was talking specifically about the character. I’m fine with the fact that the actor didn’t want to (if that’s the case, but it doesn’t matter either way).

  • Alex

    *sniffs*
Even just listening to the Songs made me a sobbing mess.

Definitely Not going to keep it together through the episode.

  • Phantomfluteplayer

It’s official, I am going to be a crying emotional wreck while watching this episode.

  • Glee Fan

Not sure why Kurt wouldn’t have a song??? Also, it seems crazy that Dianna Agron is not in this one – she should be there and singing a song. I find that very disappointing.

    • http://kaywinnnet.tumblr.com/ Sasha

These are just my thoughts, but I feel like Ryan Murphy would’ve allowed any of the original cast who really wanted to sing sing and anyone who felt too overwhelmed by it back out.

    • Rachel Monroe

Ryan said he asked all regulars and anyone a regulars who asked to be in it was. Such as Iqbal the Principal/Janitor isn’t it becasue he requested to be in it. TBH Dianna never had the emotional heft need for song such as these. I doubt he would have had her sing anyway.

  • Hiccup

I haven’t seen Glee since second season — but I may have to find a TV and watch this episode. I can already tell it’s going to make me cry.

  • Emily Bryan

I listened to all of these and cried. I might have to wait a while before watching this episode :/

  • Rachel

Personally, if Santana and Rachel switched solos, and Rachel sang If I Die Young, that’ll make the tribute much more memorable.

    • Rachel Monroe

Why would Santana be singing to Finn about loving him no matter what or doing what ever she could to show him she loves him?

  • Rachel Monroe

Rachel’s is so full of emotion she is even crying. Puck’s is really nice and fits perfectly. Mercedes is nice but it isn’t making me feel anything and it gets way too big at the end, subtle is better in this situation, but SOL and her parts are great. I wish was Mr Shue and Artie sang Fire and Rain.

  • Harshita Lawania

I am just disappointed that they are not singing I Can’t Fight This Feeling Anymore…

  • katemarie89

I love that it’s only originals that got songs…the new characters didn’t even know Finn that well

    • Kallah Jean Turner

I feel exactly the same. I am very pleased with the outcome of the songs of this episode.

  • Crazy

Even though im 22 and never knew these actors personally its so over whelming listening to these songs… The episode is definitely going to leave me crying. I’m just the viewer, I don’t know how the cast & crew got through making the episode.

  • Kallah Jean Turner

I’ve never heard the cast sound so prefect before. This episode is going to be beautiful. Everyone has done such a lovely job and this episode will be glorious and live up to Cory Monteith like it should. He will never be forgotten <3

    • Harshita Lawania

Even with the problems I have with the song choice, I couldn’t agree with you more. When you listen to the songs you can feel the passion in them…..

  • Karen Hart

Won’t watch it…Sorry but no reason for Dianna Agron not to be on the damn episode

    • Kiara Rubin

she probably didnt/ couldnt handle it

    • alexa

i agree she should be there but that’s no reason not watch the episode

    • Karen Hart

Honestly I am not watching because GLEE sucks…It started into sucking last season and now its just getting pathetic

  • Taylor

    Is Quinn in this episode?

    • andy

      No

      • malcorben

She may be, but just doesn’t have a song, or solo? From the other comments, she may just have opted out of a song to Cory/Finn via Ryan Murphy… Can’t wait to find out! These songs sound amazing!

  • Anon

She sniffled. Did you hear that? Omg…

  • malcorben

That one N in Finn looks like it was cried on… oops, now I’m crying!

  • Alysia Dugan

Does anyone know if Burt and Carol are going to be in the episode? I can’t imagine not including his parents…

    • lauren

they are both going to be on

  • Kadma Sixx

Lea and Naya’s songs are the best. You just can feel them. I know for sure I’ll be spending the episode crying, curled up in my blanket.

  • Marie

This has nothing to do with the songs, but I noticed the note signed by Zach and Brooke. Shout out to the choreographers?
