    Best episode yet.
Favorite scene: Korra and Naga take on the judge
Favorite line: The penalty is DEATH!!!
I’m guessing Korra will unite the Spirit world and the Water Trides. Her dad is then crowned the new chief making Korra a princess? I kinda hope that last part doesn’t happen.
Definitely looking forward to Eska’s deranged heartbroken fight with Team Avatar. But I’m really looking forward to Korra’s reunion with Tenzin. She needs to show some more humility and humbleness.

    • girlonfire12

DEFINITELY. I’m looking forward to when Korra says to Tenzin “i need you now more than ever” and he says “i wont let you down.” i love them together… theyre a great juxtaposition because theyre similar and also different.
and you nailed it… HUMILITY for Korra.

  • http://kaywinnnet.tumblr.com/ Sasha

I hate being negative about LoK (because the last thing the fandom needs in more negativity), but I am so OVER Eska.

The baby air bison scene practically had me squealing though. So cute. I’m really interested in where everything involving the cloudbaby family is going.

    • girlonfire12

      agreed… Eska is kinda funny… I guess… ehhhh….

    • Rosalie David

I actually love her monotone, especially in comparison to Bolin who’s so over the top. I guess its a preference thing, but she makes me laugh more than Bolin sometimes.
I do agree with you about the baby air bisons though. I want one!

  • Brianna Lofton

    1. Judge’s head in Naga’s mouth :) And the picture of Aang’s family
    2. “You may show your joy through tears” -Deska
    3. Tracking down General Iroh, Tenzin, Bumi, and Kya. Going back to the south to kick some butt.
    4. Don’t know about next week but already ready for the ultimate showdown

    • Rosalie David

      Yes track down General Iroh!!!
And if we can find Lin also I’d be very grateful :)

      • Brianna Lofton

Oh yeah I forgot about Lin!

      • asdf

Sokka’s descendants, are what I want to find out about.

      • chris

The creators have already told us that Lin will NOT make an appearance in this book at all. She’ll be back in Book 3 though.

        • Rosalie David

What! When was this announced? I’m so sad, I loved her awkward interactions with Tenzin and Pema. She also had a great relationship with Korra, kind of begrudged respect.

    • Matt

Iroh will definitely, as he’s part of republic forces and so is Lin, so I think they will be in it.

varek and the whole platypus bear ruse. he’s turning out to be more of a King of Omashu than an Earth King, amirite?

eska (or is it desna? i can’t remember which is which either!) coming after bolin at the end had me in stitches. best ending ever. not to mention bolin dressed as his lady love, skull engagement necklace included. there are goth kids in the world of avatar too! LOLOLOLOLOL

  • Gary65

Is it just me or is the storytelling too simplistic in Korra these days?

    • Yall

It is when it comes to the main arc. I think it’s because they are setting up a plot that’s a bit too big to squeeze into one season. Hopefully the pacing gets better now that the main points like the spirits, Korra’s dad as being the rightful chief and Unalaq as being the jealous brother have been laid out.

With Tenzin and the family, it’s pretty well paced.

Lin is back awesome episode loved it checkout here…tiny.cc/TheLegendofKorra-s02e04

book 2 is totally getting better! I liked the premiere but I was a little nervous about the rest of the season. But this episode was great and I’m so excited for more!!!
and Bolin was cracking me up the whole time.
best line: “your powers of deduction are impressive.” “Yeah. He’s a cop.”
Honestly for future episodes, it all hinges on if Korra is super obnoxious like she was in the first two. I think we’re headed in the right direction!

    • Rosalie David

Agreed, I’m glad Korra seems to be forward and evolving as a character. Hopefully next step is talking to Tenzin.

  • girlonfire12

We cannot forget about Grey Delisle!!! I’m so excited to hear her voice on the show again!!!

    • billy

      The dark spirit…

I wonder how this will tie in with the North Vs. South and Tanzins family, they sure are packing alot into this book

  • Priscilla

It would be funny if Eska and Bolin actually end up together at the end of the series (but with a healthier relationship of course)! I think this is my favourite episode from LoK, I loved Korra’s story, Bolin’s and Tenzin’s. Great balance of action, drama and comedy overall. I laughed so hard at the last scene.

  • 7Starrchasers

Haha this episode was so much fun!!!! Loved it!

  • dani(el)

fantastic episode. I feel like this season is finally getting on track.

  • ALEXherrrrrrrion

  • Steph

    1. The whole episode was great! I can’t really decide which scene was my favourite. Maybe the part with the airplane and busting Korra’s dad and the rebels out.
    2. “That Platypus Bear just pooped money!”
    3. I think the season is improving a lot. This is the best ep so far.
    4. uh, I guess I want to see more of the spirit world, and want to know how Jinora is involved.

  • Jessica H-M.

The episode was worth watching just for the picture of grown-up Aang and Katara with their kids at the end . . . almost made me cry – so sweet!

  • asdf

This episode showed a marked improvement from the preceeding ones, more character exploration, and for the first time I felt that the story was leading to somewhere.

  • Matt

I hope later on we see Wan(The first avatar.) as he was avatar by being spiritual and I think Korra will need him to realise the spiritual importance. And we saw the seen with Tenzins eldest daughter finding the wooden statue(Probably Wan..)

  • crystalskies.zk@gmail.com

Honestly I like how the story line is going so far, its going at a normal pace and things are already going to get pretty interesting. Also, I really hope Iroh and Asami are gonna get together later this season because I heard that they were supposed to canon. (Lets just hope it actually happens!)

  • TeaTime

Yay they’re going back to Republic City! Also does anyone know if Iroh and Asami are supposed to get together this season because I really want them to.

  • Kailee

My fav scene was when korra was talking to Unalaq in the prison… nd when he said she “served her purpose” she turned around and chucked like three fire blasts at him. Then she did some awesome airbending! Oh and the best line for me was when korra threatened to kill the judge. That line was just so powerful and it’s nice to see korra finally take charge.

If the story keeps going on like this, and I mean like the brothers(tonraq and Unalaq) and the two tribes going to war… then the dark spirits might go out of balance because of the fighting going on. But on to the most awesome part that probably everyone wants to see… AVATAR WAN!!! I’m super stoked to see the different animation and the story of how he became the first avatar!

  • kohai

Super happy with the episode, can’t wait for the new episodes.

  • John

Still really like the show, but it seems like the northern water tribe is becoming the new fire nation threat. Also feel like Wan is related to the snake-like spirits who were trying to prevent Korra from opening the portal. So maybe Unalaq is trying to seize some form of spirit power to trump Korra/avatar power. He has to realize that he can’t win without her on his side. Also, is he spirit-bending? Looked like Korra was almost able to do it an earlier episode. I think that might be a big focus in later episodes.

  • Meghan

I would like to see less action and more focus on the spirits and Korra’s spirituality (or lack thereof). The season is titled “Spirits,” and I was rather disappointed to see that Korra is less spiritual than she was in season 1. I don’t know if that was intentional, but it certainly seems that way. I’m so tired of the teenage angst.

Besides that, the “Civil Wars” episodes were excellent, really putting a twist on some of the characters (well, not Unalaq, we all knew he was the bad guy) like Korra’s father and Tenzin and his siblings. I was actually more interested in Tenzin and his siblings until the part where Tenzin found Ikki and it got a little preachy. But in episode 4 when the judge announced the death penalty, I almost fell out of my chair. The death penalty. As the Nostalgia Critic would say: You know! For kids!

But I actually appreciate them taking that route, as it shows maturity and risk taking. Obviously Nickelodeon is fine with it since they decided to air it. And the time slot DID change, indicating that this season might be filled with more moments such as that one.

I am excited to see where this is going! And ESKA – watch out. She is truly terrifying.

  • LoK

Do you reckon there’ll be a Season 3 after Season 2 (after Book2,3 & 4)? I hope adventures in the Avatar world never ends! I would die to live in that world!!
