NBC has announced a handful of upcoming Saturday Night Live hosts and musical guests today, including the season 39 premiere host Tina Fey.
In a press release, NBC has announced that Tina Fey will host the season 39 premiere episode of Saturday Night Live on September 28. Arcade Fire will also join Tina Fey as the musical guest for the season premiere.
It was also announced that Miley Cyrus, who made a headlines for her raunchy MTV Video Music Awards performance, will be pulling double duty as the host and musical guest for the episode slated to air October 5.
Following those episodes, Hollywood legend Bruce Willis is set to host the October 12 show with musical guest Katy Perry, whose latest single “Roar” is currently No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Perry’s latest album Prism is also set to debut on October 22.
The cast of season 39 of Saturday Night Live is still somewhat up in the air as cast members Fred Armisen, Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader all left the late night comedy show, with Seth Meyers leaving in January to host the latest incarnation of Late Night.
