If you’ve missed Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) go undercover, new pictures show a fun dancing assignment for Bones in the January return in “The Diamond in the Rough.”
The two pose as Buck and Wanda Moosejaw once again at a ballroom dancing TV competition, similar to Dancing with the Stars or So You Think You Can Dance. As previously revealed by Hypable, former So You Think You Can Dance contestants Eliana Girard (winner of season 9) and Dmitry Chaplin (season 3) will play one of the competing teams on Dance to the Top. Fans can also expect to see former So You Think You Can Dance judges Tyce Diorio and Mary Murphy, hopefully with her signature phrase.
As the photos reveal, the rest of the Jeffersonian team, Angela (Michaela Conlin), Hodgins (T.J. Thyne), Sweets (John Francis Daley), Cam (Tamara Taylor), and Wendell (Michael Grant Terry) come to support their friends. This should be an amusing and hopefully positive experience for the couple. It looks like Booth has some dancing skills from his college days whereas Brennan has not revealed any prior dance experience over the course of Bones. Bones returns January 14 with its two-hour double episode delight for fans with “The Diamond in the Rough” followed by “The Archeologist in the Cocoon” at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
