Beginning December 1, visitors to Warner Bros. Studio Tour London: The Making of Harry Potter will be able to see “how Christmas was brought to life” for the films.
You’ll learn “how the vast Christmas feasts were created, how sets were seasonally transformed, and see firsthand the Studio Tour’s decorations and festive makeover.”
During the Christmas period, you will get to see the Great Hall “decorated as it was for Christmas in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (pictured above) with authentic decorations and eight Christmas trees.” In addition, the Gryffindor common room, boys’ dormitory, and Weasley kitchen will have a “seasonal transformation.”
Tickets for the Studio Tour must be purchased in advance of your visit. The Christmas make over runs from December 1 – January 6.
Whether you’ve been to the Studio Tour or not, this seems like a great reason to go and be the first ever public to enjoy Christmas at Hogwarts.
Since opening earlier this year, the Harry Potter Studio Tour has added various elements like a limited-time Dark Arts area, an iconic bridge seen in the films, and now this Holiday make over.
We’re eager to see how organizers continue to expand and enhance the tour to make it an attraction worth revisiting. It is easily the best Harry Potter attraction in the United Kingdom, and there are no plans for a Harry Potter theme park in the country.
