Watch this preview from Grimm episode 2×08 “The Other Side” to see what surprising guest will walk into the spice shop while Monroe is watching it for Rosalee!

Episode synopsis:

HIGH SCHOOL COMPETITION TURNS DEADLY–JAMES FRAIN AND CLAIRE COFFEE GUEST STAR — Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to the scene of a murdered high school academic decathlete and learn just how competitive some extracurricular activities can be, and the extremes some coaches and parents will go to give students the best chance for success. In other police matters, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) deals with an unwanted infatuation while we learn an old accomplice of his has been spending time with his family in Europe. Elsewhere, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) continues to manage the spice shop and gets a visit from an unlikely customer.

Guess who turns to Monroe via the spice shop for some help? Desperate for help to control his obsession, Renard visits the spice shop hoping to get a remedy. Monroe earns a glare from Renard when he questions, “Are these feelings for a person or for an animal? Sorry I have to be thorough.” When Renard explains his obsession began with a kiss, Monroe feels akin to him. Saying that he too is in a similar situation (aww, Monrosalee). Then Renard gets a little antsy when Monroe questions if they know each other!

Do you think Monroe will be able to help Renard?

is it just me, or does the guy in the photo look like Lieutenant Blake from Heavy Rain??

This is hilarious. So, so funny. Does the Captain look terribly embarrassed or not? :-) Thanks a lot for posting this!
And no, I don’t think Monroe will be able to help. Renard can’t admit that it’s all due to a Zaubertrank, he is already risking Nick finding out without describing the exact situation. I don’t believe they will be able to fix it without knowing all the details.
And honestly, it wouldn’t make sense for the writers to solve this to easily. I love Nick and Juliette as a couple (which is rare, I rarely support the main pairing in a show), but this dynamic between her and Renard has just so much potential storywise, it would be a shame to hurry the plotline along.
But maybe whatever Monroe gives him will help a bit with the symptoms.
