This week on Glee we get a look at what appears to be the senior class presidency candidates as Brittany and Sam duet to Hole’s “Celebrity Skin” in this week’s episode, “Makeover.”

It looks like Glee is doing things a little differently with this performance showing both Brittany and Sam stepping outside of their own bodies to perform the song while their literal selves stay in place. It’s a little awkward out of context but maybe it will make sense when we watch the episode this week? Check out the video:

What are your thoughts about the performance? We like the rough and sarcastic attitude of the scene, particularly with Brittany. We also love the short snippet of bromance that we’re going to see with Blaine and Sam!

It sounds and looks different than glee, but in a good way. Hopefully it fits with the overall feeling of the show.

The pairings this year have been really good. I love Sam and Britney, Blaine and Artie and now Blaine and Sam. The show is less crowded so it works…
As for this performance I quite like it. It is so different to anything else they’ve done, Glee needs to take more risks like this

They seem to be trying a new angle for relationships this year – FRIENDS!! I love having these interactions with characters – particularly Sam in the last few episodes – where they just act like friends and we don’t need to worry about a single conversation meaning that they are now together as it always was in the past.

LOVED the whole thing, but i don’t understand context, isn’t Blaine running against Brittany for class president? In the video it looked like Sam is…anyway, what a great number!
