Jamie Campbell Bower sends message to ‘The Mortal Instruments’ fans

Jamie Campbell Bower has sent a message to Hypable for fans of The Mortal Instruments! We will be on set asking your questions on Friday!

The first book in the Mortal Instruments series, City of Bones, introduces us to Clary Fray and the shadowhunter world. Lily Collins is set to play Clary while Jamie Campbell Bower is set to play Jace. Joining them in the shadowhunter world will be Robert Sheehan, Jemima West, Kevin Zegers, and Godfrey Gao. The screenplay has been written by I. Marlene King, the script writer for Pretty Little Liars, and Jessica Postigo. The film is set for release on August 15, 2013.

  When he was first announced, I was happy but now I’m not so sure. He is good looking but he’s way to skinny and not how I pictured Jace. It would have been nice for them to use a bulkier guy to play Jace unless we’re not getting many shirt off scenes. Anyway, I hope they do a good job with the movie and this series is one of my favorites.

I still think he is so wrong for Jace. So scrawny looking and not attractive to me in the slightest.
