Watch a new video showing The Vampire Diaries and Perks of Being a Wallflower star Nina Dobrev behind the scenes at her Seventeen magazine photoshoot.

The video was released on Seventeen. It shows behind-the-scenes footage of the photoshoot itself, while Dobrev talks about the theme of the photoshoot, which is fall fashion, and taking risks with sweaters and warmer clothes. She also talks about her role in Perks, and describes the movie as an exploration of how you deal with dark times in your life.

Speaking about The Vampire Diaries, Dobrev previews that, “The whole dynamic of the show is gonna change” now that Elena is a vampire. We are going to see her transition from girl to woman, and how she adapts to being an undead, supernatural being.

She also reveals her top tip for confidence: throwing on a pair of heels, for instant sexiness.

Nina Dobrev graces this month’s cover of Seventeen magazine, and reveals a lot of great details about her life and her roles in Perks and on The Vampire Diaries. She also speaks out about dating Ian Somerhalder, something the actress has previously been tight-lipped about.

You can see more images from the shoot and quotes from the interview on the Seventeen website.

When does she talk about dating Ian? I didn’t catch that part. But I love the clothes and it’s great she’s having so much fun :)

What? You didn’t hear her mention Ian at all? Maybe it is an in between the lines thing…haha there was absolutely no mention of Ian Somerhalder in this video. Nice plow to get people to watch though.
