‘Glee’ 4×01 video: Kate Hudson performs ‘Americano’/'Dance Again’

We’re less than a week away from the season 4 premiere of Glee which means we get to check out the first full performance video of the season too! Check out Kate Hudson performing a mashup of Lady Gaga’s “Americano” and Jennifer Lopez’s “Dance Again.”

The performance can be seen this Thursday when Glee season 4 debuts on September 13th at 9/8c on Fox!

Say what you want about Kate’s singing or Spanish, but damn, the girl can dance! As Sugar would say, she worked that number like a hooker pole! Take notes, Rachel ;)

Americano is amazing. Dance Again is hideous. It’s like 2 different people singing. But she looks and dances great and she makes bits of Rachel so I can forgive a lot.

  They had to change the key of Dance Again to match Americano for mashing purposes, and something really heinous happened to it…

    I agree. Something weird going on with that mash-up. The transition doesn’t work. But Rachel is WAY out of her league and she’s finally realizing that. And cruel as it may be, I LOVE IT! I’ve said all along that being a star in Lima, OH means absolutely nothing in the big leagues.

I’m actually waiting for Rachel to get knocked down a few (or maybe twenty … thousand) pegs. Hopefully Kate’s character will do that.

  What pegs does she need to be knocked down from? I honestly don’t understand comments like this given who Rachel was at the end of season 3. Season 1 or 2 maybe but not now.

Her singing might not be perfect, but she still wiped the floor with Rachel’s hideous little girl clothes from the past three seasons… Well… Predominantly from season one…

so all they’re doing is reinstating the fact that both Rachel and Lea have zero sex appeal….. Like that needed to be done…

Hmmm… Her Spanish was certainly sub-par (but so is Lady Gaga’s :P) and I’m thinking she should leave the singing to her fiancé ;) BUT it was better than I expected and, as others have said, woah, she can certainly dance!

Admittedly, I’m an atrocious singer, but I didn’t think that her singing was all that bad!! Daym can she dance though!!

Kate Hudsen has it all and I think she sounded great, too! What a nice surprise! I’d like to hear who sing a duet with Gweneth Paltro who also sounds great!
