Luna Lovegood actress Evanna Lynch appeared on stage at LeakyCon 2012′s Opening Ceremonies in Chicago earlier this evening dressed as Katniss from The Hunger Games.

So is Evanna a Hunger Games fan then or was she required to dress up as part of the opening ceremonies? In any case, this is awesome. I wish she’d worn a dark brown braided wig to complete the look but no one might’ve recognized her if she had.

  No, Evanna is definitely a Fan. She mentioned having read the books before the movie came out, and feeling bad she couldn’t really audition for any role, even if she wanted to

    She could’ve played a part in the next movie! Sadly, the casting for Catching Fire is nearly complete.
    
    But it’s very cute she’s a fan. She was awesome in HP and casting Rhys Ifans as Xenophilius was true genius.
