‘The Hunger Games’ DVD/Blu-ray Australian release date announced

Australian Hunger Games distributor Roadshow Entertainment has announced the release date for the film in their country.

August 17, 2012. That’s one day before the United States gets it.

Presumably the same set of features will be included, like an eight-part documentary.

Thank you for posting the Aussie dates :) has anyone else noticed that in the last few years Oz has been getting the big fandom based films in cinemas a day or two before America?

  I think often its because movies get released on Thursdays here and Fridays in the US (as far as I am aware)…then again we got the Avengers a fair bit earlier I think…not that I’m complaining of course :P
