Featuring a star-studded cast and a fascinating concept, Now You See Me could very well be a surprise hit when it’s released next year. The film itself may be a long way off, but the first official still has now been released!
Starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, and Woody Harrelson, the cast of this interesting movie features a lot of stars from fandoms we cover right here on Hypable. Now You See Me will be directed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk, Clash of the Titans) and was written by Boaz Yakin (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time) and Edward Ricourt (a member of Marvel Studios’ Writing Program).
The film will follow the FBI’s cat-and-mouse attempts to track down a super-team of illusionists, who perform spectacular bank heists during their shows before redistributing the wealth among their audiences. The first official image depicts Isla Fisher (an upcoming actress due to star in The Great Gatsby) trying to pull off a Houdini-esque underwater escape act. Check out the image – which was released by USA Today – below!

Now You See Me will be released January 18, 2013.
