While at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner over the weekend, Glee star Matthew Morrison spoke briefly about Lindsay Lohan as well as what to expect as we wrap up season 3 and head into season 4.

It turns out Matthew Morrison actually didn’t have any scenes with Lindsay Lohan, telling the Washington Post:

“I saw her on set, but I never worked with her.”

When asked how things went on the set, Matthew paused before saying:

“I think it was all right. The work got done.”

Matthew also said that work on season 3 will wrap on May 11 and that there would be no Will and Emma marriage this season. When asked if it would be happening next season, Matthew replied:

“I have no idea. We don’t even know — I mean, the show’s back next season, but we don’t even know which cast members will actually be back,” he said. “I think I’ll be back, but some of the kids — we’re trying to figure out what we’re going to do with that.”

It looks like the showrunners are being extra sensitive to the cast as May 11 will mark many of the actors’ last day on the show:

“They’re treating it very sensitively, because for a lot of these kids it will be their last show,” he said. “I’m really happy that they’re treating it with such sensitivity and making the stories so great to end the show for some of these people.”

What are your thoughts about cast members leaving? Would you rather see Matthew Morrison leave?

Great. A Glee without the kids we know, and just Will. This is just -fantastic-. The only thing that keeps me smiling through this is the thought of hearing Glee Chat’s reactions to it XD

well I don’t know if everyone is staying, but we know Lea, Cory and Chris are!

      • NYnina17

Yea but didn’t Chris say there was a very real chance that he might return only as a guest star? If that happens it might happen to Lea and Cory as well.

I think that was back when Ryan wanted to move all those core characters minus Will to New York for sure and actually film there. It sounded like Chris didn’t want to move.

If they have a way to keep Rachel, Finn, Quinn, Santana and Kurt, they should be able to keep everyone.. I like how he talked about Lohan. “The work got done.” Very considerate!

Mark Salling, Amber Riley, and Chord Overstreet need to be added to the list of people who will return.

I’m going to throw up only because this is stupid. Just end the show… It’s past it’s prime which was the first 13 episodes.

Clearly the number of records they’ve sold, merchandise they’ve sold, and viewers they have each week disagree with you.

      • Peeta Mellark

They have had the lowest ratings of the series this season….

does anyone know if santana is coming back for season 4?

    • Guest

  • Amy S.

Can’t Mister Schuester graduate and never come back again?

  • Luna

I really want to see Agron, Harry, Sailing back on the show next season

Ughhh. People love the KIDS, not Schue. They’re what makes the show great. Why can’t we have a season where we alternate during or between episodes between what each of the kids is doing in their adult lives. I suppose we could include the juniors/sophmores, Will, and the new Glee club in this, but I think they should take the back seat. I would much rather have all the kids than Will. Hisw character’s just a mess, and, unlike some of the other previously destroyed characters, doesn’t seem to be able to get back on its feet.
