Ever since audiences first heard Bane’s voice, something of a “Bane problem” surfaced because a certain faction of the audience couldn’t understand what he was saying. Now it seems that the problem has been cleared up.

Thanks to the folks over at Collider who got to see footage from The Dark Knight Rises at CinemaCon and tweeted about what they heard!

What do you think? Has the audio been cleared up? Were they just used to the dialogue in the prologue? Will we be able to understand Bane in July?

But the Bane “problem” was cool! I would try and imitate it and i felt all buff and like bane. It was awesomeeeee why’d they “fix” it?!?! It gave the character more personality. Stupid WB, Nolan Noes What He is Doing. Let him do his thing.

Hopefully it was just a CinemaCon thing.

    Nolan Noes…

It’s kind of hard to feel threatened by someone when you can’t understand a word they’re saying. The effect is still there so you can imitate it and “feel buff”(-_-’) all the same. The only difference is that you know what he’s saying.

I always understood bane. Omg I can’t wait for this, and the Hobbit, I’m most excited for those movies this year.

I liked the voice before and the fact that it was difficult to understand I think added to the mystery of his character. I think it’s scarier if u can’t understand what the bad guy intends to do.
